Solutions containing the leading science. Now and going forward.

Jeppesen employs a model-independent approach recognizing that models evolve and also that different regulators might advice their operators on using different models over time. For this reason Jeppesen products are able to easily switch over to any other model compliant with the CAPI. The recommended model to use, and the one provided by Jeppesen, is the Boeing Alertness Model, which is extensively validated, has the needed performance for optimization, and a solid track record used by some 50 airlines world-wide.

The Boeing Alertness Model incorporates the science from the Three Process Model, and has features enabling full control of sleep opportunity timings, commute times, sleep tactics, in-flight sleep, and context assumptions needed when building crew pairings. BAM outputs includes predicted alertness, fatigue risk, and sleep/wake timings.

Key benefits
  • BAM contains a representation of th leading science, better and more transparently validated than any other model.

  • BAM has the needed performance and support for being used in mission critical high-performance applications.

  • BAM is available for integration (over CAPI) into any application

  • Rich feature set for configuration and an extensive set of output metrics available

  • Fully CAPI compliant and provided as a compiled library for all architectures
